… building a flexible workforce

Apprenticeship leafletApprenticeships have been developed by Sector Skills Councils in conjunction with employers to train motivated young people in the skills needed to provide industry and commerce with a highly flexible and well qualified workforce.

Apprenticeships offer employers direct access to a pool of high calibre young people, coupled with structured work based training and a qualifications framework.

Apprenticeships provide real benefits for your business. An apprentice contributes to your bottom line with practical skills and knowledge acquired through their training.

No two businesses are the same, and that’s is why apprenticeships have been designed to be flexible, while at the same time providing nationally recognised quality training developed by industry for industry.
